From the year 2019 to 2029, it is said that the demand for this occupation will have a fifteen percent growth rate. This is mainly due to the progress in infrastructure which will require the expertise of welders.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, when compared to other similar jobs in metal and plastic work the demand remains in welding jobs. It is said that there aren’t enough skilled workers now and in the field of welding. However, there are many other sectors where one can easily specialize in one sector and become known for their exceptional quality of work. This is what many manufacturing companies are looking out for.

Scholarship amount to be awarded

The scholarship amount is $3000 and it will be awarded to 2 students for their education expenses. & Also,

  • The 1st position holder will be awarded with $2000.
  • The 2nd position holder will be awarded with $1000.

Eligibility to enter this scholarship

To be eligible to participate in this scholarship contest, there are a few conditions which are:

  • The participant must be enrolled, currently attending, or planning to be enrolled in a university or institution.
  • Has a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
  • The participant can only submit one essay
  • The participants irrespective of nationality are eligible to participate
  • If you are an applicant under the age of 18, you must provide us a permission letter from your parent or a guardian
  • Your academic excellence should be above average. (Academic details also must be provided)

Guidelines and how to apply

The guidelines and entry process have been made easy so that many students around the world can easily participate and out of all of them only three participants will be able to win the scholarship. The guidelines and the applying process are as described below.

      in a Word format only. PDFs or Link to Google Docs will not be accepted.

    • The essay shouldn’t be plagiarised. It should be unique and have no grammar or spelling mistakes in it. A plagiarised article will be immediately rejected.
    • One essay per participant. You cannot send multiple essays
    • The essay should be submitted before the deadline (date)(time). Essays that are submitted after the deadline wouldn’t be recognized.
    • The prize money will not be refundable and cannot be transferred
    • The scholarship money should only be used for educational purpose
    • You should agree to have your names and photos published on our social media account. We will be posting them on our social media and websites when you win.
    • Provide your contact number (with country code) to notify you when you win the scholarship
    • Name your word document as (first name, last name, scholarship)
    • All the required details should be provided on the first page

Last Date of Submission Your Article: You must submit your essay on or before December 15, 2021

    • Must apply through an email with your name, identification details, and institution you are planning to enroll. If you are already enrolled do provide student details.

Announcement of the Winners: The winners will be announced on December 30, 2021, and the winner will be notified by email and the contact numbers provided by them along with the essay.
